Coronavirus Relief Funds

Great Seal of the State of FloridaUnder Title V of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the Social Security Act was amended to establish the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF), a $150 billion appropriation used to make payments for specified uses to states, Tribal governments, territories, and large units of local government. The total CRF funding allocated to the state of Florida is approximately $8.328 billion. Of the total, the U.S. Treasury directly allocated $5.85 billion to the State of Florida and $2.47 billion to jurisdictions with populations of 500,000 and above.

Florida CARES Act Management System (FLCARES)

The Florida CARES Act Management System (FLCARES) is our state system of record for CRF programs. Through FLCARES, counties can submit requests for funding and upload required support documents. State agencies can report eligible costs incurred in responding to the pandemic and mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
